Our AI achieves 99.8% accuracy on well-structured PDFs. For complex documents with merged cells, multi-level headers, or unusual layouts, accuracy may vary. You can always use the built-in preview editor to review and fix any issues before downloading.
Absolutely. All uploads are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Your files are automatically deleted from our servers 1 hour after processing. We never read, share, or train AI models on your data. PDFXtract is fully GDPR compliant.

Yes. Our OCR engine reads scanned and image-based PDFs. Quality of extraction depends on scan resolution — 300 DPI or higher gives the best results. We recommend checking the preview for scanned documents before downloading.
Free plan users can convert up to 5 PDFs per month without signing up. Creating a free account gives you access to conversion history, the data editor, and higher file size limits. Paid plans require an account.
